Ackerman /s/ Ken Ackerman 11-23-98 Administrator SUBJECT: Crop Revenue Coverage (CRC) - Notice of Loss Requirements BACKGROUND: The 1996 and 1997 Crop Revenue Coverage (CRC) Basic Provisions, Duties in the Event of Damage or Loss Section, contained language that required the policyholder to give notice of expected revenue loss not later than 45 days after the date the Harvest Price is published. This language was inadvertently omitted from the Duties in the Event of Damage or Loss Section of the 1998 Spring and 1999 Fall CRC Basic Provisions. ACTION: Effective for the 1998 spring and 1999 fall CRC crops: CRC policyholders will be allowed to give notice of expected revenue loss not later than 45 days after the date the Harvest Price is published as an Actuarial Document Addendum (Special Provisions) in accordance with the CRC Commodity Exchange Endorsement.
