SUBJECT:  1999 Crop Revenue Coverage (CRC) Commodity Exchange Endorsement
          --Durum Wheat Base Price 
     
BACKGROUND:

On Monday, February 2, the Department of Agriculture (USDA) released a Risk 
Management Agency (RMA) Program Announcement entitled "USDA Lowers Durum 
Base Price for Crop Revenue Coverage."  

ACTION:

RMA will be issuing a Manager's Bulletin within the next 24 hours outlining 
provisions of an amendment to the CRC Wheat Commodity Exchange Endorsement.  
The program announcement may be found on the USDA web site at www.usda.gov.
