     SUBJECT:   Actuarial Addendum - 1998 Forage Production (APH) Rate
                Correction in Minnesota
     
     Seven forage production expansion counties in Minnesota were added for
     the 1998 crop year. These counties were filed with both spring and fall
     types; however, the rate structure reflected the same rate for both
     types rather than a reduced rate for the spring type of coverage.  All
     seven counties: Chippewa 023, Lac qui Parle 073, Lincoln 081, Lyon 083,
     Redwood 127, Renville 129 and Yellow Medicine 173, have been updated on
     the Actuarial Data Master (ADM) and new FCI-35 actuarial documents are
     being released on the RO server to reflect the lower rates for the
     spring type of coverage.  As a reference, the rates for these seven
     counties in 1998 will be identical to the rates filed for Kandiyohi
     County, Minnesota 067.
     
     Companies are requested to provide this Informational Memorandum to
     agents and field representatives so accurate premium cost information
     may be provided to producers concerning the spring type coverage.
