    Crop Revenue Coverage (CRC) Cotton

    Income Protection

1998 projected prices for Income Protection (IP) Grain Sorghum,
Soybeans, and Cotton are as follows:

    Grain Sorghum  January 15   $2.55 per bushel
    Grain Sorghum  February 15  $2.51 per bushel
    Soybeans  February 28  $6.67 per bushel
    Cotton    February 28  $0.72 per pound


  Crop Revenue Coverage

The 1998 base prices for CRC Cotton in counties with a February 28 or
March 15 sales closing date are as follows:

100 percent  $0.72 per pound
 95 percent  $0.68 per pound
