SUBJECT: 1998 Crop Revenue Coverage (CRC) Cotton Harvest Price Announcement

                     Crop Revenue Coverage

The 1998 harvest prices for Crop Revenue Coverage Cotton for counties with a January 15 sales
closing date as defined in the CRC Commodity Exchange Endorsement - Cotton are as follows:

   
                    Cotton              100%      $0.73 per pound

                                         95%      $0.69 per pound

The 1998 CRC harvest prices for all other cotton counties will be announced on or before
December 10, 1998.
