          Announcement of 1999 Crop Revenue Coverage (CRC) Cotton Base Price 
          and 1999 Income Protection (IP) Cotton and Soybean Projected Price
                              
                      Crop Revenue Coverage

The 1999 base prices for CRC Cotton  in counties with a February 28 or March 15 cancellation
date are as follows:

  100 percent  $0.62 per pound

   95 percent  $0.59 per pound

                        Income Protection

The 1999 projected prices for IP Cotton and Soybeans in counties with a February 28 sales
closing date are as follows:

  Cotton           $0.62 per pound

  Soybean          $5.30 per bushel
