SUBJECT: Grape Crop Provisions for the 2000 Crop Year

The Risk Management Agency (RMA) placed on the Reporting Organization (RO) Server the Grape Crop Provisions that will be effective for the 2000 and succeeding crop years. Sections 3(b) and (c) of the Grape Crop Provisions have been revised to add provisions that allow grape producers in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington to select one price election and one coverage level for each varietal group specified in the Special Provisions. Sections 3(f) and 9(a)(2) have been added to provide year-round coverage in California, Idaho, Mississippi, Oregon, Texas, and Washington for insureds with no break in coverage from the prior year.

Please refer to the crop provisions for more complete information. The policy is available on the RMA WebSite at: www.rma.usda.gov/policies/.

The policy or an amendatory endorsement must be issued to all new and carryover insureds for the 2000 crop year at least 30 days prior to the cancellation date.
